Riobet glossary: casino, payment and account terms explained

Casino and cryptocurrency terminology can make a simple account question sound more definite than it really is.

A pending withdrawal is not a completed transfer, a display currency is not necessarily a payment method and a short signup is not a promise that identity checks will never occur. This glossary explains the terms used across the Riobet guide. Definitions describe concepts; they do not confirm that a particular feature, offer, licence or payment route is available to your account.

Game rules and the player’s outcome

  • RTP, or return to player, is a theoretical long-run return associated with the game’s mathematical design. It is not the amount an individual session must return. Read the rules for the actual game version rather than treating a figure found in a different lobby as universally applicable.
  • House edge describes the operator’s mathematical advantage under the stated rules. It is a long-run concept, not a prediction of the next round. Changing the pace of play does not turn the definition into a promise about a particular session.
  • Volatility concerns how a game distributes outcomes, including how often and how unevenly wins may occur. It does not identify a safe stake or make a game suitable for a specific person’s budget. A broad label should be read alongside the game’s actual rules.
  • A random number generator, or RNG, is a mechanism used to produce randomised game outcomes. A fairness or testing claim needs its own relevant evidence. The presence of the abbreviation alone is not proof that a particular site or game has been independently assessed.

Bonuses and restricted balances

  • A wagering requirement is a condition requiring eligible betting before some promotional funds or winnings become withdrawable. The calculation base matters: a requirement applied to a bonus is different from one applied to a deposit and bonus together. Read the applicable campaign conditions.
  • Game contribution means the extent to which activity on a particular game counts towards a promotion’s requirement. An available game is not automatically an eligible game. Excluded categories and different contribution rates need to be checked in the offer rules.
  • A bonus balance is money or an equivalent value governed by promotion conditions. It should not automatically be treated as freely withdrawable cash. Cancellation, expiry, stake rules and cash-out conditions may affect that restricted balance.
  • Free spins describe promotional play on specified games under specified conditions. The word “free” does not remove questions about eligibility, expiry or the treatment of winnings. A rakeback arrangement is different: its calculation depends on the programme’s defined eligible activity and formula.

Crypto payments and transaction status

  • A coin or token identifies the asset being transferred. A display currency is a unit used to express a value in an interface. Those are not necessarily the same thing, and a familiar currency symbol does not prove the existence of a bank-payment route.
  • A network identifies the blockchain used for a transfer. An asset may be available through different networks, but a destination must support the exact route selected. Matching only the token name is not a complete receiving-address check.
  • A wallet address identifies a destination on a particular network. Some routes also require a memo or tag. A private key or recovery phrase grants a different kind of access and should not be supplied as routine evidence in a support request.
  • A transaction hash or transaction identifier is a reference used to locate a network transaction. It is different from a support case number and from an internal withdrawal-request reference. State which reference you have when explaining a payment issue.
  • A network confirmation is part of the blockchain’s recognition of a transaction. Operator approval, network processing and credit to a recipient account are separate stages. One stage having completed does not establish that all of them have.

Accounts, checks and restrictions

  • KYC means know your customer: checks concerning identity and related account information. A risk-based approach does not mean that verification is impossible. The precise request and the operator’s current conditions determine what information is required in a particular case.
  • Source of funds refers to information about how the money used for an activity was obtained. It is not the same question as which wallet sent the transaction. A legitimate request should specify the scope and the appropriate submission route.
  • Additional authentication adds another step to an account login or sensitive action. Its presence should not lead you to share a code with another person. Use the account’s verified authentication and recovery flows.
  • A pending withdrawal is a request that has not completed its relevant processing stages. It may still be awaiting review, approval or transfer. Ask which stage remains outstanding rather than assuming that “pending” always means the network is slow.
  • Self-exclusion means restricting access to gambling through an applicable scheme or operator process. It is different from signing out, deleting a browser shortcut or taking a short break. Check the actual scope of the arrangement instead of assuming it covers every unrelated operator.

Use definitions with the actual account rules

The practical meaning of a term comes from the document using it. A payment minimum belongs to a specific route; a bonus expiry belongs to a particular campaign; a complaint reference belongs to a particular case. If a message uses a term without explaining what action is required, ask for a concrete clarification. Keep the relevant rule, reference and date together so the explanation can be checked later.

Glossary questions

Does a definition confirm a Riobet feature?
No. A concept can be explained even when this guide has not confirmed that the operator provides that feature. Availability and account terms require their own evidence.
Is pending the same as failed?
Not necessarily. Pending identifies an incomplete process, while a rejection or failed transfer is a different status. Ask which stage is incomplete and whether an action is required from you.
Does RTP predict my next session?
No. A theoretical long-run return is not a session result. Read the rules of the actual game and do not interpret a percentage as an individual repayment promise.
Where should I look for a practical walkthrough?
Use the related payment, login, bonus and verification guides. Then confirm the actual account instructions on the operator service, because this glossary is not a substitute for those conditions.
